As the days grow shorter and the air gets cooler, it’s the perfect time to lean into cozy routines and refresh our self-care rituals. We sat down with influencer and wellness enthusiast Eleni (@eleni.cc_) to chat about her favorite fall self-care tips, from the little moments she carves out in her busy Atlanta city life to how she styles her Larsson & Jennings pieces to elevate her seasonal looks.

Fall is all about cozy vibes and self-care! How do you adjust your wellness routine as the weather changes?

I absolutely love creating a cozy, fall ambience at home. For self-care, I create a relaxing atmosphere by using light dimmers while playing a fall ambience Youtube video. I light tons of fall candles and crave warming foods like my favorite carrot soup recipe.

What are your go-to self-care rituals for the cooler months? 

My go-to ritual has to be my evening shower routine. I love taking a shower with a dim lamp and using a towel warmer – I literally transform my bedroom into a mini spa! I also use my Hatch alarm to play ocean sounds throughout the evening and it always feels I’m in my own personal oasis. 

Any favorite practices that help you unwind and recharge?

This year was all about prioritizing sleep hygiene. I realized that in order to fully unwind and recharge, I needed a few hours before bed to actually get to that point of relaxation. With practice it’s been easier to unwind quicker, but I think giving yourself enough time to actually get to a point of calm is the key. I’m also constantly playing white noise or some form of nature sounds to quiet my thoughts and I’m a big fan of topical magnesium for relaxation and muscle soreness. 

 

Fall fashion can be so much fun! How does your style shift as the seasons change?

I love layering pieces like oversized sweaters over collared shirts. I tend to gravitate toward rich, earthy tones like deep greens, rusts, and burgundies, which feel perfect for the season.

What are your fall wardrobe essentials?

My fall wardrobe essentials definitely revolve around comfort and neutrals. A good pair of jeans is a must, whether it’s straight-leg or high-waisted. I also love having a classic trench coat for those cooler days. 

How do you style it with your new L&J watch with your fall looks? Any favorite outfit combinations?

The best part about my L&J watch collection is that each piece quite literally matches with ALL my outfits! Whether I’m wearing a casual fit or going to a holiday event, I wear my Boyfriend Mini Elevate Mixed Gold the most. 

Green is typically quite a refreshing and tranquil tone, what connotations does the color have for you and do you think it resonates with your health and wellness mindset?

To me, the color green represents renewal and a connection to nature. Green makes me feel more grounded and at peace, which reinforces my commitment to a balanced lifestyle. 

 

Do you have any tips for staying grounded and maintaining a healthy routine during the busy fall season?

I make sure that during the busy season I intentionally block off time to decompress and take mid-day walks. I find walks outside give me the clarity to refocus and remember that the busy season of fall and the upcoming holidays is temporary and should be about being present and thankful. Spending time with my family and fur baby, Whiskey, helps me stay grounded but also makes the fall season more enjoyable. 

As a wellness enthusiast, what are some small but impactful habits you recommend for people looking to boost their self-care game this season?

Don’t overcomplicate things! Wellness and self-care should be personalized to your specific needs in a way that makes you feel excited for it. The best advice I have is to keep it simple, and treat yourself with self-compassion. Get sunlight, movement, hydration, and sleep. Going back to basics is the easiest way to boost your self-care game. For the self-care overachiever, I love heat therapy such as infrared saunas and red light therapy before bedtime. These two things have been incredible for my skin and mental health. 

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone who wants to elevate their fall style while staying true to a wellness-focused mindset?

Focus on comfort. Choose cozy, breathable fabrics like organic cotton or bamboo that feel great and let you move freely. Neutrals make me feel calm, so play with earthy tones and rich autumn hues!

Lastly, what are you most excited about for this fall—whether it's personal, wellness-related, or style-wise?

I’m most excited about spending time with my family, friends, and Whiskey! I have a deep affection for all the cherished autumn traditions so doing all of those things with the people closest to me makes me the happiest.
