Update On Our Ocean Clean Up

How you’ve helped us collect 550kg of plastic out of the ocean

As many of you know, sustainability is at the core of everything we do here at L&J. From using vegan biodegradable leather to recyclable packaging, we are constantly striving to do more and do better for our planet with the aim of being 100% carbon neutral by 2030.

As part of our crusade we teamed up with Beam Impact and the Big Blue Ocean Cleanup, one of the world's leading independent ocean cleaning non-profits. They keep the oceans clean by means of mass cleanups, sending out educational resources to schools, cleaning equipment to community groups, researching ocean pollution and raising awareness for clean oceans.

With 1% of every L&J purchase donated to a nonprofit of your choice, it’s thanks to all your help that we have hit our first goal of removing 550kg of plastic from the oceans, not only that but we’re well on our way to doing it all again.

We just wanted to keep you updated on this amazing progress and say a big thank you for your help and generosity. We know these may be baby steps in the grand scheme of things, but any efforts we can take to make this planet a better place are steps in the right direction.
