February Love Movie Cal

With Valentine's Day fast approaching our feeds are swiftly filling up with odes to devoted partners, pics of romantic weekends away and suggestions of ways in which to spoil the special someone in your life. But love isn't just about finding the perfect partner and settling down, so this February we wanted to celebrate love in all its forms.

We've created a calendar choc full of films that show all sorts of lovely love. From romantic love in classic rom-coms like 'The Notebook' to love intertwined in 'Closer' and the raunchy 'Love' by Gaspar Noe. From mutual adoration with a pet in the gorgeous story of life long loyalty 'Hachi' to love and sex in Steve Mcqueens controversial 'Shame' and love falling apart in 'Marriage Story'.

We explore themes of love in Friendship in 'Stand By Me' and Queer relationships with 'Carol' and 'Moonlight' So this February lets appreciate love for all that it is, not the shiny painting of happiness portrayed to us a lot of the time but the messy, complicated and often confusing feeling that it is.
