From Paris to California, how has living in the Golden State added a twist to your French-girl style?
Living in California has definitely added a laid-back, easygoing twist to my French style. While I still love the classic elegance of French fashion, I’ve embraced the California vibe with more casual, relaxed outfits—think denim, oversized sweaters, and sneakers. I’ve also become more experimental with colors and patterns, which I didn't do as much back in France. California has given me a bit more freedom to blend comfort with style, which I adore.
If your personal aesthetic were a rom-com, what would the title and plotline be?
I’d say my rom-com title would be "Chic & Unpredictable." The plotline would follow a woman who juggles her busy, stylish life in the city, navigating love and career with a little bit of French flair. She finds herself torn between two worlds—her sophisticated French roots and her adventurous, carefree California life—and ultimately discovers that combining the best of both is the secret to her happiness.
What’s your ultimate power outfit, and what song would play as you walk into the room wearing it?
My ultimate power outfit would be a tailored black blazer, high-waisted trousers, and a simple silk blouse—timeless and elegant. I’d finish it off with a pair of loafers and a statement watch. As for the song, it would have to be "Run the World (Girls)" by Beyoncé. It’s empowering and makes me feel ready to take on the world!
What’s your favorite LJ watch, and how did you style it to make it so you?
My favorite is the LJ Boyfriend Mini Elevate Silver watch. It's simple yet sophisticated, with just the right amount of shine. I’ve styled it with everything from casual outfits—like a white t-shirt and jeans—to more formal looks, like a tailored dress. It’s versatile, and it always adds a touch of elegance without being too flashy, which I love.
What are your absolute favorite coffee spots in San Francisco, and what makes each of them special to you?
1. Ritual Coffee Roasters: The atmosphere is so cozy and the coffee is always perfectly brewed. I love sitting there with a cappuccino, watching the hustle and bustle of the city.
2. Blue Bottle Coffee: Their iced coffee is a must, and I adore the minimalist aesthetic of their shops. It’s the perfect spot to reset and take a breather in the middle of a busy day.
3. Saint Frank Coffee: Their unique blends are exceptional, and I love the chic, modern vibe of their locations. It's a great place for both people-watching and reflection.
The most Laetitia thing I’ve ever done was ______. Fill in the blank and spill the story!
The most Laetitia thing I’ve ever done was spontaneously hopping on a flight to Barcelona just for a long weekend because I needed a change of scenery. I packed light, grabbed a book, and spent the entire weekend eating tapas, exploring the city’s hidden gems, and soaking in the sun. It was an adventure that was impulsive yet perfectly aligned with my love for new experiences!
With her innate sense of style, her fearless approach to life, and her love for both tradition and innovation, Laetitia is the ultimate muse. Her story reminds us that style is all about staying true to yourself—while never being afraid to add a little twist.
